Arrow Strength has formally withdrawn from two coal-seam fuel leases in Queensland’s Scenic Rim region just after a 10 years-prolonged marketing campaign by locals against its options.
State Resources Minister Scott Stewart claims the company has withdrawn its software to renew two exploration permits around the town of Beaudesert, south of Brisbane.
“My division have accepted these withdrawal purposes which means these exploration permits no more time exist,” he explained to parliament on Friday.

Arrow halted functions at the two leases a 10 years in the past following an 18-thirty day period local community blockade of its drilling sites.
