‘Waiting him out’: San Antonio police in active standoff on Northside

San Antonio Police Main William McManus explained late Thursday night, August 4, that officers are “waiting him out” in an ongoing standoff with an unknown person in his 40s keeping up in flats on the Considerably Northside. 

The San Antonio Police Section despatched out a detect that units were responding to an “lively” situation at Stone Oak-region flats at 1207 Agora Palms Generate, San Antonio, TX 78258, all-around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Police initially explained to people and media to remain away from the region since the scene was even now energetic and on private residence. 

Somebody tipped off San Antonio Law enforcement Section investigators that the man living at those Stone Oak apartments had a murder warrant, the Specific-News claimed. When officers arrived to arrest the male about 11 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, he barricaded himself in the apartment. The gentleman was however barricaded in the condominium on his possess, a SAPD spokesperson confirmed Friday early morning, August 5. 

“We are waiting around him out,” McManus explained. “We are not likely to make entry unless there are current instances that would demand us to make entry.”
