TPSO seeks suspects in carjacking and attempted carjacking of Rideshare/Supply Drivers

Main Jimmy Travis reports two independent incidents in the location of Wardline Street in Hammond, in which 1 issue was carjacked and yet another attempted carjacking took place within just a make a difference of days.

On June 14, 2022 just prior to 10:30 AM, an Uber driver touring as a result of Joe’s Mobile Residence Park off Milton Street was approached by a young black male who requested for a experience. When the Uber driver refused the support, the male suspect brandished a handgun and compelled the driver to exit his black Toyota Sienna, leaving his mobile device inside. The male suspect drove to the exit where by yet another youthful black male entered the van, at which time they left the trailer park.

On June 20, 2022 all around 4:30 PM, a feminine supply driver was flagged down on Wardline Street close to Log Cabin Lane by a youthful black male who requested to use her cell phone. When the woman claimed she didn’t have one, the male suspect hit on her window with a handgun. The feminine was equipped to travel away rapidly, and was unharmed. The suspect with the handgun is explained as “short and small” in stature, and was accompanied by yet another younger black male.
