Studio 666 trailer: Foo Fighters horror comedy is coming to theatres in February

Back again in November, we read that Open up Highway Films is planning to give the Foo Fighters‘ horror comedy Studio 666 a broad theatrical release in above 2000 theatres on February 25th. Now, two months afterwards, they have last but not least released a trailer on the internet! You can check it out in the embed previously mentioned.

Starring Foo Fighters band associates Dave Grohl (who appeared in past year’s Monthly bill & Ted Face the Tunes), Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, and Rami Jaffee as themselves, Studio 666 will clearly show us what comes about when

the legendary rock band rents an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll historical past, to report their 10th album. Difficulties is, frontman Grohl is creatively blocked, and when evil forces in the dwelling sink into his consciousness, the imaginative juices start flowing but so does the blood. Can Foo Fighters’ entire the album, with the band continue to alive to tour?

Whitney Cummings (Whitney), Leslie Grossman (American Horror Tale), Will Forte (MacGruber), Jenna Ortega (the new Scream), and Jeff Garlin (formerly of The Goldbergs) are also in the forged.

Studio 666 was directed by Hatchet III‘s BJ McDonnell from a screenplay by Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes, primarily based on a story that was crafted by Grohl. Grohl informed Deadline,

Right after decades of absurd new music videos and a lot of music documentaries less than our collective belts, it was ultimately time to take it to the upcoming level… A complete length function horror comedy film. Like most things Foo, STUDIO 666 began with a considerably fetched concept that blossomed into anything bigger than we at any time imagined doable. Filmed at the exact same dwelling wherever we recorded our most recent album Medicine at Midnight — explained to you that location was haunted! — we wanted to recapture the traditional magic that all of our most loved rock and roll videos experienced, but with a twist: hilarious gore that f*cking rocks. And now, with the assist of Tom Ortenberg and the crew at Open Street Movies we can ultimately permit this cat out of the bag just after holding it our greatest held mystery for two decades. Be completely ready to snicker, scream, and headbang in your popcorn. STUDIO 666 will f*ck you up.”

Studio 666 would seem like fun to me, so I will undoubtedly be examining it out in February. What did you imagine of the trailer? Enable us know by leaving a comment beneath.
