Spider-Man director Jon Watts joins Final Destination 6

“Both Dianne and I have been significant supporters of Remaining Destination from the pretty beginning,” Watts explained in a statement to Assortment. “So to be able to have a hand in crafting a new story with the first staff and New Line is likely to be each exciting and exciting.”

Perry echoes Watts’ excitement.

“Jon and Dianne’s enthusiasm for the series is only matched by how a lot pleasurable they are to function with,” Perry claims. “Sheila and I could not be more excited to have their innovative strength driving this most recent installment in the Final Desired destination franchise with New Line. With Person and Lori’s inspired execution of Jon’s unique plan, we have a film that audiences are gonna appreciate.”

Watts has expended the past couple decades working on Spider-Guy options. He also directed McGunigle’s Kevin Bacon-led thriller Cop Automobile, and directed Clown, a horror film about—you guessed it—a killer clown. He’s also set to direct the forthcoming Great 4 revival for Marvel.

The movie is established to debut exclusively on HBO Max.
