Euphoria’s Barbie Ferreira Exits the HBO Series
Barbie Ferreira, actress had shared the post on Instagram on Wednesday that she will not be coming back for third season of the HBO hit series “Euphoria”. Euphoria classroom will have one less student in coming series. Euphoria has won many Emmy awards in the past. This is an American based show based on teenage school students who are struggling with love, drugs, money and social media when they are growing up. The show as airing on HBO.
Barbie Ferreira was an integral part of the show. She posted on his Instagram page that she’s having to say a tear goodbye from the show Euphoria. She had played the role of Katherine Hernandez to perfection in the past four years. She has embodied body positivity and has grown confident in her sexuality in the show. Katherine was the best friend of Maddie and Cassie in the season 1.
Her character was faded to the background in the Season 2. She had injured herself in the season 2 in a bathtub accident. It has been advised that there were some tension between Ferreira and the show creator Sam Levinson. It has been advised both of them had a major fight and Ferreira had stormed off the set. It has been advised that both of them had a fight two months back during the filming of the season 2. Ferreira also acted in 2020 film “Unpregnant” and she also made a special appearance in the Jordan Peele’s horror film “Nope”.
Her fans had thanked her for playing the role to perfection in the show. They have posted “Thank you” messages on the social media. It is upsetting for the fans worldwide who really loved her on this series. In the second season it seemed that her character has been side-lined. There were many episodes in which she didn’t have a line. Fans all over the world are waiting to see what next Ferreira gets into. HBO had not responded to her departure.
