McDonald’s Happy Meal-Inspired Box for Adults
Mcdonald’s, the fast–food chain, is planning to sell boxed meals geared towards adults, and each boxed meal would have a fantastic, slightly creepy figure inside. They are planning to start this soon. The Cactus Plant Flea Market Box is a collaboration between McDonald’s and the fashion in the name, which is inspired by the memory of enjoying a Happy Meal as a kid. The outside of the box would be multi-colored and feature the chain’s familiar golden arches. Each restaurant sets the pricing of the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box, which may vary according to Mcdonald’s. It would be available in the drive-thru, in restaurants, by delivery, or on the McDonald’s app till the supplies last.
Consumers can choose between a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets. It would also come with fries and a drink. The box will pack in one of the four collectible figurines. Three of the four figurines appear to be artisan takes on the classic McDonald’s characters Grimace, Hamburglar, Birdie, and Early Bird. The fourth is a little yellow guy sporting a McDonald’s shirt called Cactus Buddy. More news from McD is that Halloween buckets will return to the chain this fall. So good news for fans.
From October 3, consumers will get one of McDonald’s famous meal boxes in a portion fit for grown-ups with a Big Mac or a 10-piece box of McNuggets complete with fries and a drink. Mcdonald’s had revealed the move in a press release and a series of teasing social- media posts on Tuesday. The burger giant has been on a social media purge and has deleted all its Instagram posts and has replaced them with two, which are uploaded this week announcing the launch date for the new Happy Meal showing pictures of the four collectible mascots up for grabs. For the current available Happy Meal, the burger giant charges more for the ones that come with hamburgers than those with nuggets. So it remains to be seen at what price range they will offer the adult’s happy meal.
