India shares higher at close of trade; Nifty 50 up 0.25% – India equities ended up higher at the near on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares greater.

The worst performers were being Wipro Ltd (BO:) which was down 6.00% to 649.85 in late trade, Asian Paints Ltd. (BO:) which lost 2.47% to settle at 3456.75 and HDFC Lender Ltd (BO:) which was down 1.81% to 1528.35 at the shut.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 928 to 867 and 28 finished unchanged on the Bombay Stock Trade, 1660 rose and 1641 declined, whilst 79 ended unchanged on the India Countrywide Inventory Exchange.
