In February, Australian alt-rock band Gang Of Youths introduced their third studio album, angel in realtime. They are presently gigging all-around Australia, and in September they’ll head to Ireland and then the US before circling again to Europe. For now, they’ve performed a “Like A Version” address of Travis’ 1999 basic “Why Does It Usually Rain On Me?”
“It’s just a definitely timeless, lovely tune,” said Dave Le’aupepe. “And they’re a band that’s about as ‘uncool’ as us, and I thought that was really sweet to do it, and we understood that it would irritate bespectacled audio nerds just about everywhere.”
