Right before the entire world knew Beyoncé as Queen Bey, DJ Simmons knew her as his babysitter.
“Beyonce used to babysit me … she was sweet, caring, loving, providing and nurturing,” the “Buckhead Shore” star, who is the son of Grammy-successful songs producer and songwriter Daryl Simmons, instructed Web site Six.
“I want to get to again out to her if I can. Ideally this exhibit will make me famous plenty of. But if not, I’ll hold taking pictures my shot.”
The reality star, whose new collection debuts Thursday on MTV, continued to gush above what it was like hanging with the musical icon before she was renowned.
“[My dad] signed Beyonce when she was 15 years old. She was singing with Destiny’s Baby [but] they weren’t named Destiny’s Child at the time,” DJ explained to us of Daryl, who’s also labored with the likes of Whitney Houston, TLC, Boyz ll Gentlemen and Toni Braxton.
DJ recalled occasions when “Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland would sit at the house” with him to make positive he “was straight” when his mothers and fathers would depart and go out to evening meal.
“So I can say Beyoncé was my babysitter,” he extra, proudly.
DJ at the moment stars in “Buckhead Shore,” which follows a team of pals as they shell out the summer season in Buckhead, Ga., a town much less than eight miles absent from Atlanta.
