Around 80,000 travelers are reportedly stranded at a seashore vacation resort metropolis situated on an island south of China just after authorities there imposed a lockdown, declaring it a COVID-19 hot place.

Chinese authorities enforced limits Saturday morning, canceling flights and banning all ticket income in Sanya, a vacation resort city positioned on Hainan Island — about 320 miles southwest of Hong Kong — to stem the distribute of COVID-19, according to The Related Press.

In accordance to The AP, there have been 229 confirmed conditions on Friday and an more 129 on Saturday.
